St. Charles College, Grand Coteau, Louisiana and Abbeville High School played a football game in 1920 here in Abbeville The Warriors won the game by a score of 75-0. Andrew Broussard, an Abbeville son, played fullback for the St. Charles team. He became a well known business man and civic leader after his college days and return to our city.
